Change Exam Center AIOU

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING EXAM CENTER

Before applying for the Change of Examination Center please read the instructions carefully.

Note: Request for change of examination center made through any other medium will not be considered except sent through CMS Portal (Service Request).

  1. Change of Examination Center is not allowed by AIOU, under normal conditions. However, in hardship cases change of Examination Center can be allowed once throughout a program and subsequent requests will not be considered for any next examinations. Therefore, the student is required to change his/her address through Directorate of Admissions for the next coming examinations for allocation of new exam center as per updated address that can be done before the commencement of study period.
  2. Request can be submitted through CMS Portal (https://enrollment.aiou.edu.pk/) subject to provision of the following valid documentary proof:

Transfer, Posting, or Appointment Orders (of the student, father, or husband) that occurred during the current semester are required to be attached, duly attested by gazetted officer (not below scale 17) with the name and designation appearing on the stamp.

Nikah Nama (for female students only), along with copies of CNICs of both husband and wife, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer (not below scale 17, with the name and designation appearing on the stamp), shall be accepted only if marriage occurred during the current semester before the exams.

If the student or his/her father/husband changes the place of business or shifts to another station during the current semester before commencement of final examinations, a rental agreement (Stamp Paper) along with a Residential Certificate from Gazetted Officer (not below scale 17, with name and designation appearing on stamp) is required to be attached.

  1. Change of Examination Center will only be allowed where Question Papers of that program/course is available. No special arrangement will be made.
  2. Prescribed Fee (Rs. 1,000/-) for change of Examination Centre be deposited. (in case of incomplete request, fee will not be refundable).

Fee can be deposited through Bank Challan, Easypaisa and Jazz Cash. Challan is available on AIOU web https://www.aiou.edu.pk/downloads-2 and https://enrollment.aiou.edu.pk/.

  1. Request for change of Examination Centre (along with required documents/fee) be submitted through CMS Portal as per the following schedule:

By 1st October By 1st April
  1. University reserves the right to approve/reject any application for change of Examination Center without assigning any reason.
  2. No request for a change of center will be considered other than the reasons mentioned at (2) above.
  1. It must be ensured that there is no ulterior motive for requesting a change of examination center and that all information provided on CMS Portal is In case of any incorrect information, the University reserves the right to initiate proceedings against the student under the AIOU Examination’s Rules & Regulation, at any stage.
